Verdict

Ryan Moore has a couple of rides today starting with GOOLOOGONG, a Derby entry by Australia out of a mare who has produced five winners. He'll be better for an opening run at Dundalk and gets the nod though stablemate King Leodegrance, a son of Camelot and a half-brother to Mowhawk, is also in at Epsom. Young Ireland started out last season with a couple of excellent runs but didn't make the expected progress while the Frankel colt Nation's Call should be suited by stepping up to this sort of trip. Hijo De La Luna is by Sea The Moon out of a German St Leger winner so was never likely to make a speedy two-year-old while Sixpack, who is by the same sire, made a nice start at Gowran in October.
