The once high-class Rubi Light is struggling to get back to winning ways under big weights but shouldn't be done with just yet. Aupcharlie has contested two major handicaps since scoring at Clonmel in April but his jumping is still a concern. King Vuvuzela is better handicapped over hurdles but Rye Martini isn't badly treated and would be a threat if over his recent fall in the Troytown here. Fever Pitch has only gone up 3lb for his Clonmel victory while Gordon Elliott's pair Arzembouy Premier and Riverside City are lurking at the bottom of the handicap and should be noted. ABBEY LANE has had five starts over fences and fallen in two of them. But he looked to be going easily when coming to grief at Punchestown and hopefully his trainer will have ironed out the problem as he looks set to gain his first chasing success.
