Verdict
Jennies Jewel won this last year and despite continuing in excellent form, including when landing a Grade 3 chase last time, she is just 1lb higher so has to be on the short-list. DARA TANGO was a useful novice two years ago but was returning from a very long break when landing a handicap on the Flat at Catterick in October. He crossed the Irish Sea again last month when an excellent third in a Grade 3 over 3m at Haydock where he looked like winning at this trip so Ruby Walsh can steer him home. Harvey Logan is progressing nicely, though he's up 8lb for completing a double here last month, but the main threat could come from Lite Duties. He landed a gamble at Punchestown last month then easily defied a 10lb rise back there three weeks later so even another 13lb hike shouldn't prevent another big run. Others with chances in a wide-open event incluse the hat-trick seeking Pencilhimin and the useful dual-purpose performer Inis Meain, who won here in February before landing a Listed race at the Curragh.
