In depth

Verdict

RAWNAQ has been in fine form over hurdles since finishing runner-up in a 1m6f handicap at Leopardstown in April and looks nicely weighted on his return to the Flat. He'll take some beating, despite this looking a competitive event, as though he was a long way in front of Tiger At Heart the latter has improved massively and gained an easy success over this trip at Tipperary. An 11lb rise won't help matters but Leah Claire is another who has been going well over timber and she ran an excellent race behind Paddy The Celeb at the Curragh last time. Beau Michael pops up at big prices every now and then while it's about time the consistent Manuka was winning and Luke Dempsey's claim will help.
