Most of this lot are old pals and Bubbly Bellini won the race in 2013. Fairyhouse winner Blood Moon is the only three-year-old in the race and has the most scope so has to be respected from what looks a lenient handicap mark. Kasbah was beaten just over a length by Togoville at Dundalk and the weights are the same though the extra furlong is likely to suit Pat Smullen's mount, who has been staying on strongly over the minimum. Great Wide Open won over 7f at Gowran and seems best at that trip while Bainne could do with some rain though his young rider's claim takes him onto a fair mark. Tylery Wonder won a premier handicap at the Curragh in September though that was over the minimum trip and in a wide-open event the vote goes to FALCAO, who went up 10lb for an easy victory at Cork and came from too far off the pace at the Curragh last week. The consistent In Salutem is another to consider.
