        Verdict

        ARAB POET wasn't far behind the progressive Oh This Is Us when the latter landed a hat-trick at Goodwood. A bold bid looks likely from Sir Michael Stoute’s colt and he is just preferred to Dream Mover. The latter was beaten only a length in a higher grade than this at Doncaster in April and Frankie takes over the reins today. Majdool should finish closer with last month’s outing at Haydock under his belt but War Story was well beaten at Newmarket on his handicap bow having won a maiden on the all-weather earlier. Short Work’s latest effort at Epsom is best forgotten as he hit the stall gates when anticipating the start and much better is expected here.
