Innamorare had been running well before a poor effort at Leopardstown on Thursday. Maricruz won the previous race over this trip last year and in 2019 so shouldn't be dismissed despite moderate recent form. Arriba has been racing in Germany and is related to a couple of smart hurdlers so is likely to be seen jumping before too long. Wish Me won a handicap here in October on soft ground but hasn't taken to hurdles while Satano Chevalier is still a maiden after nine starts. SLIEVE BEARNAGH doesn't win often but is regularly placed at this sort of level and made a satisfactory reappearance at the Curragh last month. He's handed the vote as Rodney Bay would prefer further and Philly's Hope's two victories have been at a mile though the latter has been running well and rates a threat.
