      Verdict

      STUDIO CITY started favourite for his debut at Cork but didn't handle the soft ground then chased home subsequent Listed winner Wodao over this track and trip. That looks marginally stronger form than Hilltop Gold's fine run over the trip at Bellewstown last week when staying on strongly. Sam's Xpress pulled very hard at Down Royal where he led for a long way before weakening quickly. Betterdaysrcoming will probably need further but stable companion Zing Up is a half-sister to the smart two-year-old Dazzling Dan. Westown Lane is by Dandy Man but his dam is from a middle-distance family.
