Verdict

SUSSEX has an official rating of 102 and meets lesser rivals on favourable terms. The Ballydoyle colt, a winner on testing ground at Gowran in October, has raced in Group company at the Curragh the last twice and clearly wasn't suited by 1m6f last time. World Famous looked very progressive when landing the odds at Gowran but had a hard race when attempting to make all in a tough handicap at Leopardstown on Thursday. Shajak beat the useful My Mate Mozzie over 1m4f at Tipperary and can't have been right when a long way last in the Ulster Derby at Down Royal. Fumata looked well suited by 1m4f when beating the odds-on Waterville comfortably at Leopardstown while Jezebel Queen has been highly tried since making a winning debut at Dundalk in February.
