VOIX DES TIEP did well to win a bumper and score over hurdles as he's always looked a chaser. His close third to his better-fancied stable companion Tornado Flyer at Naas was a fine debut and this should be within his capabilities. The stable also run Ifyoucatchmenow, a winning point-to-pointer and hurdler and another certain to make a chaser. Trappist Monk won a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan in April then finished second, though was beaten 17 lengths, behind Samcro on his chasing bow at Down Royal. He only got as far as the first at Punchestown next time but would have to be considered with a clear round. Smoking Gun won four times over hurdles last winter and will have come on for his debut over fences on heavy going at Fairyhouse while the very useful hurdler Canardier is an interesting debutant over the bigger obstacles.
