Verdict
ASHDALE BOB (NAP) won a Fairyhouse Grade 2 over hurdles in April and was only just run out of it in the Punchestown Champion Novices' Hurdle later that month. He made his chasing debut in the race won by Bob Olinger at Gowran and was in touch when unseating three from home. Diol Ker eventually finished fifth in the latter event and will have come on for the experience. Blue Sari, beaten less than a length by Envoi Allen in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham in 2019 before landing a maiden hurdle at Punchestown on his debut, went backwards subsequently but his trainer has plenty of experience of reviving careers. The champion trainer is also represented by Keskonrisk, third behind the brilliant Appreciate It in a Grade 1 novices' hurdle at Leopardstown when trained by Joseph O'Brien. Farouk D'Alene has only been beaten once and beat a subsequent Grade 1 winner when landing a Limerick Grade 2 over timber in December so could be anything.
