Giuseppe Garibaldi has been extremely disappointing this season after his close third in a Group 3 at Leopardstown in October but perhaps the faster ground and much longer trip will bring about the necessary improvement. His stable companion CYPRESS CREEK stepped up to 1m4f at Leopardstown and chased home his long odds-on stable companion Southern France. The remainder were well beaten and he can make enough progress to take this. National Security, who finished third in that latter event, has since finished a bit closer in fourth behind the winner in a Listed contest on this track so isn't without a chance. Baliyad is a likely improver over this longer trip and his stable have struck form.
