Memory Of Youth was in excellent form at the beginning of last year and has gradually been dropping back to a winnable mark. THECORNERHOUSE defied a 7lb rise for scoring at Thurles with a convincing success at Down Royal. Though hit with a further 10lb hike in the ratings, his rider's claim takes care of most of that so a hat-trick beckons. The Connector looks a threat after a well-supported victory at Punchestown. He's up 7lb but Aidan Kelly claims all of the extra back. Kalanisi Dubh had little chance in a Clonmel Grade 3 last month but her two previous efforts at Down Royal put him in the frame for this while Broadford Publican came in for strong support at Fairyhouse in December but probably found 2m too short.
