Verdict

SPARTAN ARMY has been highly tried since winning his maiden at Wetherby. This looks a more straightforward task for Alan King’s juvenile and he may have too much for the David Pipe pair. Only Fools won twice over 1m4f on the Flat in France last year but lacks experience while Jilaijone is looking a little exposed, though has been taking on older opposition in handicaps. None of the others make much appeal even though Call Me Arthur is a likely improver.
