In depth

Verdict

It would be no surprise if Willie Mullins landed the first four races on this card as Camelia De Cotte has won five of her six starts over fences and could hardly have been more impressive in a Thurles Grade 2 in January. Stable companion Robin Des Foret would have taken a hand in the finish but for falling three out in a Cork Grade 3 but, like Jetz, he has a penalty to carry though the latter was impressive when making all over 2m1f in a Navan Grade 3 and won't have a problem with the longer trip. KAISER BLACK (NAP) won handicaps over 2m7f and 3m last summer and was returning from a long absence when just held by UK raider La Bague Au Roi in the Flogas at Leopardstown last month. That may not have been the strongest Grade 1 ever but he's comfortably the pick on official ratings after that run and receives weight from three of his rivals. Monatomic hasn't shown enough to suggest he'd be good enough here.
