MISS POWER won this last year and though the ground was fast she'd won on softer going as a juvenile. She shot up to a mark of 90 on her final start and wasn't beaten far so it's a surprise to see her dropped 7lb and she can complete a double in the event. Amanaat has returned to action after a very long break and ran his best race for new connections at Navan where he almost defied his 25/1 starting price. He's only 2lb higher and had Sors and the former top-class sprinter Maarek behind, though the latter would undoubtedly have needed the run. The veteran Enter The Red ended the last campaign in winning form though could just need this but Rattling Jewel has changed stables and has dropped to such a lowly mark that it wouldn't be a surprise to see a revival.
