Pride Of Pimlico made a successful debut over 5f on testing ground here before finding Sergei Prokofiev much too good at Navan. The winner is obviously useful and his stable run VAN BEETHOVEN here. The son of Scat Daddy was sent to Newmarket for his debut and started favourite but didn't get the best of starts and took a while to warm to his task. He finished well and, with another furlong to travel, will take some beating. North Wind also represents Ballydoyle but looks the second choice. California Daddy, another son of Scat Daddy, cost $325,000 and is a full-brother to a 5f winner in the USA and Ger Lyons will have him ready while Muntahez has a very nice pedigree and Parkers Hill is a half-brother to two winners.
