        Verdict

        THE BULL HAYES finished a respectable runner-up to the much higher rated Model Pupil in a conditions race at Doncaster last Saturday. A winner over today's trip when trained in Ireland, this is more his level and he's preferred to Porgy. The latter went close on the Polytrack on his reappearance and Solaris Exhibition has a shout on his recent second to the progressive Buckland. A dual winner at Wolverhampton over the winter, Mica Mika is not out of this with a claimer on board and is preferred to stablemate Cosmic Sun, while Royal Peculiar and Lady Kashaan are both capable of getting involved in this grade.
