CANNY STYLE (NAP) started favourite on her hurdling debut at Carlisle and was only beaten a neck by a more experienced rival. She’s won five times on the Flat and is likely to be a warm order for this given Brian Hughes is keeping faith with Kevin Ryan’s four-year-old. Simone had decent bumper form in Ireland and was third on her hurdles bow at Perth in September so should go well. Heartasia won bumpers at Wetherby and Kelso in the spring so can’t be ignored, though may just need today’s experience.
