Verdict

Potters Hedger made late headway at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago so the extra furlong and stiffer track should suit. But AARON LAD was a progressive sort for Kieran Purcell in Ireland in the spring and it would be no surprise if Richard Newland finds further improvement in the son of Daylami. Linenhall’s win at Stratford is starting to look decent form and he should make a bold bid to defy his penalty while The Devils Drop was ahead of a subsequent winner when fourth at Chepstow and has plenty of scope.
