In depth

Verdict

True Blue Moon, a winner at Hamilton last month, continues in decent form while this is a drop in grade for Shelir who ran in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Pistoletto is a consistent sort who finished well ahead of Eton College when third at Goodwood two runs ago but the latter’s stable holds the key with the lightly-raced and progressive three-year-old TADREEB (NAP), who showed a fine turn of foot to get off the mark at Thirsk and should have even more to offer.
