        Verdict

        Showtime Mahomes found only one too good at Ripon and Ayr last month and will be fancied to make it third-time lucky. Bryan Smart’s stable has struggled for winners this term but Firebomb was runner-up in a small race at Hamilton three weeks ago with Emeralds Pride second at the same track a week later following a debut third at Redcar. JUSUMI changed hands for £26,000 earlier this year having cost only 7,000gns as a yearling and she’s not highly tried on debut with Danny Tudhope a significant jockey booking.
