        Verdict

        Royal Dignitory will be very difficult to prevent achieving a hat-trick of victories here and he gets the vote to fend off the challenge of Abbondanza and Papa's Princess, who renews rivalry with the selection after their clash over the course eleven days ago. Despite his advancing years, the selection has proved himself a model of consistency in well contested handicaps throughout the last number of seasons and the drop back to this grade has seen him outclass his rivals. He should prove too classy for today's rivals. Abbondanza appears handicapped to the hilt and as a result connections have no option but to revert to this grade. Returning form a 133 day break would be the concern as he has proven himself in need of an outing in the past. Papa's Princess ran a blinder in defeat behind the selection last time and a similar effort would make her a contender for minor honours. Sam's Secret is a possible each way alternative but Royal Dignatory should hold too many aces for these.
