DUBAI SOUQ, twice a winner as a two-year-old, only had one run last year and finished mid-division on his reappearance in last month's Spring Mile Handicap at Doncaster. Godolphin are persevering with him and he'll be at short odds here but is no certainty to concede 19lb to seven-times winner Mukhayyam though he has much more scope than Tim Easterby's nine-year-old. Glasses Up was behind the latter at Ripon a fortnight ago but he was in cracking form last summer and is no forlorn hope.
