Maclean wont run into too many hotpots like Andean and we believe that he should see off Badr and Queen Lucia. Maclean was far from disgraced in finishing second to what could turn out to be a listed class colt at Yarmouth. With Kieren Fallon making the journey all the way to Scotland we will not seek to oppose. Badr has disappointed as favourite on two juvenile starts and has often tended to boil over before entering the stalls. Queen Lucia finished fourth to the progressive Appalachian Trail and could be possible of further improvement. Sharp Needle was unfancied on debut and looks to have it do on all racecourse evidence. Maclean is not to be opposed.
