        Verdict

        Clearance, Uptown Funk and Buyer Beware were all due to run yesterday at Ripon and the race would take on an entirely different complex if none of that trio turn up. Hugoigo has a penalty for winning a lady amateurs’ race at Carlisle when relatively easy to back and, along with Elite Icon, was behind Pammi at Ayr earlier. Kitty's Cove has yet to win but has been knocking on the door lately. GEMOLOGIST is also a long-standing maiden but hasn’t been running badly over hurdles this year and could go close if ready after a short break.
