Verdict

This looks wide-open but it would no surprise to see a return to form from top weight Dapper Man. Royal Brave won this last year when a pound higher and has been victorious on five occasions here. Lathom won at Pontefract and Ayr before a sub-standard effort last time at York but Economic Crisis only won a Class 6 here last time and He'zanarab remains out of sorts. Holmeswood has become very disappointing but East Street Revue is more than capable if in the mood and is well drawn. Diamonique is knocking on the door but the two Irish raiders could fight out the finish with SUPER JULIUS preferred to Hamilton specialist Zig Zag Zyggy. Shane Donohoe’s charge is 13lb higher than when successful here in April but will appreciate today’s quicker ground.
