Verdict

All eyes will be on Brooklyn Breeze on his hurdling debut. Well touted before running at Haydock Park, he made amends by hacking up at Aintree at the second time of asking. He is likely to have been well schooled and will be plenty short enough in the market. Bengal Boy looks the only conceivable opposition. He has been seen out on soft ground but if he is able to handle good ground, he has the potential to make a decent fight of it. Crosby Donjohn and Loblite Leader were moderate on the flat and are difficult to fancy over hurdles. Too Technical showed some aptitude on this surface a couple of years ago. Malcolm Jefferson's representative must be watched in the market in case there are any signs of support. Hadith has been well beaten on two starts since arriving from Dubai.
