      Verdict

      ALSACIENNE scored over 1m4f at Wolverhampton last week and there should be more to come from Sir Mark Prescott’s filly over this longer trip. Ghostly Arc looks stuck on his present mark and an apprentice takes over the reins today while Callum Shephard’s allowance helps the cause of Stoneham, who had earlier rattled-up a hat-trick that included a win over today’s trip. Jan Smuts has done all his winning over further and the remainder are even harder to fancy.
