        Verdict

        Royal Brave is usually thereabouts at this level without winning. He was placed again at Beverley last time but VIMY RIDGE may prove too good in this. The latter has yet to win this year but has tumbled down the weights and drops down in class today. The veteran Captain Dunne is another sliding down the handicap while One Boy finished ahead of Rock Canyon when placed at Ayr recently and the latter was due to run at Hamilton yesterday. Harmonic Wave won over track and trip last year but remains 4lb higher.
