Raymond has suddenly found his form and followed a victory at Perth with another from 7lb higher over this course and distance. He's up the same amount here but looks certain to give another good account under Peter Coleman. His stable also run Three Castles, a winner on the Flat here in August who ran better than his finishing position here last time suggests. Dora De Janeiro won a maiden here in February and will have needed her run earlier this month so has to be respected though ENLIGHTEN could be the one to beat. Mick Easterby's charge, a winning bumper, returned after a break to run very well in a Kelso handicap last month and has the scope to go on to better things. Vino's Choice has never won over hurdles and gained his maiden victory over fences here three weeks ago.
