Verdict

GAELIK COAST completed a double over hurdles at the beginning of the year and reappeared with a debut success over fences at Fakenham when conceding 12lb to the runner-up. There should be plenty more to come and a 7lb rise looks manageable. Return Ticket's form figures flatter him as he only had two rivals to beat at Sedgefield, one of which was Lucky Flight, who was beaten narrowly when conceding 19lb. The winner was then beaten a long way when third of four at Cheltenham. He's has wind surgery subsequently while Ruinous will be having his first start for Tim Reed after a comfortable victory on his debut over fences at Downpatrick. Swaffham Bulbeck scored over hurdles at Sedgefield in August and will be better for last month's debut over fences there
