      Verdict

      Mrs Davies was bought for £30,000 after finishing second in a point-to-point in December. She was fancied on her bumper debut at Carlisle but finished last, more than 10 lengths behind the more-experienced Colorado Gold. That can’t have been her true running and she shouldn’t be written off just yet but METHODTOTHEMADNESS also attracted market support on her debut under Rules at Doncaster and ran very well to be beaten only three lengths. She looks the one to beat on that form, ahead of Sedgefield third Danced Every Dance, though newcomers Hello Bob and Tannadice Park are worth a market check.
