In depth

Verdict

FRAME RATE seemed to catch most people by surprise over course and distance 12 days ago but he does appear to like it here and Iain Jardine’s four-year-old can defy the penalty. Another course winner, Iconic Belle, was still going well when falling over track and trip on New Year’s Day and is 5lb lower so rates a danger but Shankill Castle may be warming up for a spring campaign having not raced since June. It’s even more difficult to make a case for the remaining trio.
