In depth

Verdict

Red Ochre is 0-21 but has only found one too good on a couple of occasions this season on soft going, including when well supported at Newcastle last month. He is getting 9lb from recent course winner Bullion Boss taking into account Sam Coltherd’s claim and the same from ESME SHELBY but Donald McCain’s mare has more scope than most and makes her handicap debut so could come out best. Sarvi is versatile as to trip but her win over 2m here last time was her first in 18 attempts over timber and she’s been raised 4lb.
