A field big in numbers but lacking in quality and the TEAMtalk selection is Itsdedfast. The gelding from the Len Lungo yard was a good winner of a bumper on his only start so far this season when defeating Minster Bay at Sedgefield. He is sure to have been well schooled and he will be hard to beat if he can translate that ability to hurdles. The Irish trained Moore's Law rates the main danger he has experience on his side and was a good third behind Taming at Cheltenham last time out a reproduction of that effort will see him go close. High Cheviot is a colt by Shirley Heights who has shown a modicum of ability over hurdles but his best effort came at Cartmel on heavy ground and he may find this surface on the fast side. Carousing will have come on for his latest effort when fourth behind Midnight Creek at Kelso, but he may be seen to better effect over longer distances having appeared one paced over this sort of trip of late. Peggy Sioux is also worth of consideration on her hurdling debut having been a fair second behind the Highly regarded Silken Pearls in a bumper last time out. For Your Ears Only has also shown promise in bumpers but he is a keen sort and he may come on for this his debut run over hurdles.
