A wide open handicap gets proceedings under way and the TEAMtalk selection is Pants. The gelding from the Andrew Reid yard has been in good form of late and he will be hard to beat, if he can reproduce the effort that saw him finish second behind Hampton Lucy here last time out. Telori is from a yard that is beginning to hit top form. The gelding is well in on his best form and this is his best trip but he has yet to win on this surface. Geespot won a seller in good style at Lingfield last time out, but he has risen in the weights and he will find this handicap a lot tougher. On The Trail also won last time out but he is likely to be taken on for the lead and that may be his undoing. Pawn In Life is worth a cautionary look in the market as he is from a very shrewd yard but his best form is over six furlongs. Welsh Holly is from a big yard but her best form is with cut in the ground and she has not run up to that mark on this surface. Scramble won here a couple of runs ago but he has since been very disappointing at Wolverhampton when sent off favourite. Of the remainder Husky could go well at a fair price off what looks a fair mark.
