El Coto gets a narrow vote over Kings Point, Sienna Storm, Sarraaf and Yo Pedro. El Coto justified favouritism when landing a Hamilton claimer for the same connections in August, but this former Newbury Spring Cup winner is nowhere near as good as he once was. Fourth at York in similar company next time, he is closely matched with Sienna Storm on that form, the latter having finished runner-up, and although in truth there is little to choose between the pair, we side with El Coto. The veteran Sarraaf showed signs of a revival when second in a handicap here just over a fortnight ago, and as the longer trip should suit, he may well be in the shake-up. Yo Pedro performed well in first-time blinkers at Newcastle, and with the aids on again, is another that can make his presence felt, but for the winner we return to El Coto.
