Bryan Smart sent out last year’s winner and Mythmaker has every chance on these terms back on fast going. He’s shares the same handicap rating as TARBOOSH but is penalised 3lb for an earlier success at Haydock and the latter is just preferred. Paul Midgley’s sprinter notched-up a hat-trick before finishing in front of Bossipop when runner-up at Haydock and is also preferred to stablemates Line Of Reason and Captain Colby. Ornate has switched yards and been set some stiff tasks since finishing runner-up in last year’s renewal. He’s undergone wind surgery since last in action while Meerpat has little chance on today’s terms despite the weight concession.
