This should not take a great deal of winning and the David Nicholls-trained Danish Blues, who has been running well in better races than this, is hard to oppose and gets the vote ahead of Radiator Rooney and Maromito. The last mentioned showed signs of encouragement in a handicap over course and distance last time and has claims on that evidence. At the age of 10, he is a relative youngster in comparison to the 14-year-old Sharp Hat, who has given little sign of encouragement of late. Seafield Towers would probably want a softer surface, while Jun Fan remains a maiden after 23 starts and may have to settle for minor honours at best. Irish raider Radiator Rooney has run creditably of late and has claims but Danish Blues has solid claims and he gets the vote.
