It will be interesting to see how The Real Guru gets on in his nursery debut but Anne Duffield's colt does not to be particularly well treated and a better bet looks to be Charlotti Carlotti, with Style Award rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has failed to trouble the judge in two starts in nurseries but David Barron's filly was not beaten far in a better race than this at Newmarket last time and having been dropped 2lbs since then looks worth a wager. Firenza Bond, a Chester maiden winner on soft ground, may not be as effective here unless any rain arrives while Grudge was well held in this grade at Thirsk last time. Brian Smart's Choisette could be of interest racing in a nursery for the first time but a bigger threat may come from Style Award who ran creditably at Thirsk recently. Charlotti Carlotti has solid claims though and she is preferred.
