La Bacouetteuse hasn't shown enough in bumpers nor maidens to suggest he's up to defying top-weight here and is readily opposed in favour of TILOS GEM. Mark Johnston's horse disappointed favourite backers at Hamilton but Joe Fanning returns to the plate and when the pair last combined here they took second off a 3lb higher mark. That was only in July and he's had excuses since so we're prepared to give him another chance following a break. Lady Bluesky seemed to improve for a greater test of stamina at Ayr and as she's unexposed over middle-distances the 1lb rise may not prove troublesome and she's a huge player along with Roydmore, an unexposed son of Doyen who really should be up to winning off this lowly rating. Sri Kuantan is in the doldrums but market support would be interesting while Dimashq had little excuse when behind our pick at Hamilton.
