King Of The Moors helped make this a good day for Richard Guest in 2009 but a repeat is unlikely as he's among a host of horses who may have to fight out second behind FREMEN. In our selection David Nicholls has a battle-hardened horse who is thoroughly dominant at this level, as was advertised when he scored a six-timer earlier this summer including two successes over course and distance. The 10-year-old has a career strike-rate of better than one-in-four which is some achievement given that this will be his 60th start and we're confident he can crown it with a victory having been given a pipe-opener at Beverley following a well-earned summer holiday. Bolodenka is just about the biggest threat at the weights but he's always found nine furlongs stretching him so perhaps Baltimore Jack can take the forecast spot as he certainly stays, enjoys quick ground and could improve for the fitting of cheekpieces.
