        Verdict

        Colour Contrast has won twice around here but is on a long losing run. Josiebond is still a maiden after 16 starts though has run quite well the last twice after a long break. Exchequer has won six times on the all-weather but is 0-26 on Turf while The Mackem Torpedo ran his best race to date on just his fourth start here last month and makes his handicap debut. I'LL BE BRIEF had shown potential as a juvenile and looked ready to score soon with a good run on fast ground at Redcar so gets the nod in a very low-grade affair.
