This appears an ordinary maiden and we will side with Tajweed who on the evidence of a recent pipe opener is average but displayed enough to suggest this race is well within his grasp. Unfancied in two outings last season, he was outpointed by Albaqaa, who in fairness, seems to have improved having been gelded suring the winter months. There was a long distance back to the quitely fancied Platouche, so the form may not read too bad. He is a very tentative selection. Prince Kalamoun displayed some promise last season but did not appear the most straight forward last time over the course. That said he could have been beaten by a smart sort while the Johnson yard have a line through Prince Kalamoun with another of their charges Ace Of Spies. It does not bode well that Prince D'Honneur is a former inmate of the Johnson yard and make his debut for Len Lungo here. The form of the maidens which he contested is working out poorly. A chance is taken with Tajweed to finally get off the mark.
