Jim's Boy looks an interesting newcomer and warrants more than a cursory check in the betting, however stablemate Endless Luck has already shown that he can run and he gets the nod ahead of Tighnabruaich. The selection finished second on his debut at Leicester over seven furlongs. That was on good to soft ground but with quicker ground unlikely to be of any problem whatsoever for this son of Giant's Causeway, he should run a big race especially with the step up in trip likely to suit. Stablemate Jim's Boy looks the most interesting of the newcomers, and as a nicely-bred 210,000 guineas son of Street Cry, he should be respected although it should be noted that he has already been gelded. Tighnabruaich was well-fancied on his debut at York but was well held; he may appreciate this quicker ground and must be afforded due respect, along with the once-raced Wells Lyrical who should improve. Gerard Butler's newcomers need a look in the betting but he is not renowned for debutante winners, so whilst the sole filly Azure Mist could run into a place, it is Endless Luck who gets the nod.
