A trappy getting out stakes and Anthemion is chanced at the odds with Emperor's Well and Kirkby's Treasure appearing the most obvious in the way of alternatives. The selection will have found seven furlongs a bare minimum last time out and ran a creditable race under the circumstances. If the jockeys make the mistake of granting Anthemion a soft lead, he could make them pay in spectacular fashion. Emperors Well has been running well of late without winning. He seems capable of acting on soft or fast going these days and cannot be discounted from a yard in form. Kirkby's Treasure is an infrequent winner although he is dropping dramatically in terms of class and rating.Time To Regret has had three sighters on the turf this term and can have few problems in terms of fitness. Borodinsky has shaped as if a mile is his best trip and is worth another try. At the likely odds, Anthemion appears to have plenty of ticks in the right boxes and is nominated accordingly.
