Verdict

Eva's Request looks the answer to this puzzle with Suite Francaise and Timewatch suggested as the plausible alternatives. An impressive and well backed winner at Kempton, the 150000 guineas purchase did not disappoint and looks as if this step up in trip should not inconvenience. Suite Francaise has had three races thus far without troubling the judge. The filly is bred to get further in time. Apollo Shark took a bad race in convincing style on his latest start but will need to have improved in order to win this. Allahor won well at Newcastle last time out and while this success was obtained on bottomless going, he showed a likeable enough attitude when asked. Timewatch could be anything and is watched in the market. Having considered the alternatives, Eva's Request is selected.
