In depth

Verdict

This is a pretty weak finale so Atreus must have every chance of going one better than at Wolverhampton off only a pound higher mark. Smalljohn is only 3lb higher than when scoring over this at Dunstall Park while Cookie Ring has been running well on Polytrack. But Ted's Brother finished last at Nottingham on Saturday and Top Offer appears to have gone off the boil. BLUE JACKET produced a decent effort over a trip too short on his reappearance at Thirsk and can go one better over his optimum distance this afternoon. Princess Peaches was beaten far at Ayr but her only win to date has come on the Fibresand.
