This may prove to be an informative little contest. VALENTINO BOY has shown good speed in both races to date and was only caught close home at Pontefract last time. He can make it third-time lucky as Thirsk runner-up Wheneverwecan will probably benefit from a step up to 6f. Richard Fahey saddled the winner of this two years ago and his Galahad shouldn't be short of pace as his dam won over a mile. A market move for either Smiley Riley or the Bahamian Bounty filly Hamidans Girl would be significant.
